Rainbow Six Siege: Operation White Noise lands as game exceeds 25 million players

Operation White Noise, the latest update to Rainbow Six Siege, is now available for the 25 million registered users who play the tactical first-person shooter.

Rainbow Six Siege: Operation White Noise is now available on all platforms, and includes the Mok Myeok Tower map set in Seoul skyscraper. The Tower map is free to all players now.

Operation White Noise, part of Season 2, also introduces three new Operators with signature weapons: Dokkaebi, Vigil and Zofia. Dokkaebi and Vigil are from South Korea’s 707th Special Mission Battalion, and Zofia from Poland’s GROM CTU.

Season Pass owners have exclusive access to the three new Operators for seven days, and after that period, all players can unlock new Operators via Renown or R6 Credits.

On the horizon, Season 2 players can look forward to a new Italian map, and two new Italian GIS Operators.

Also today, Ubisoft announced Rainbow Six Siege has now surpassed the 25 million registered players mark. That's a huge milestone, and will surely grow when Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 kicks off with Operation Chimera.

The expansion will include the event called Breakout, which has something to do with a biohazard and the resulting quarantine. While Operation Chimers wont include a new map, players can expect two operators from France and Russia who are biohazard specialists.

More details on Outbreak and Operation Chimera will be announced during the Rainbow Six Siege Invitational in February.
