Pokemon Go's March Abra Community Day has been postponed

Niantic Labs has postponed March's Abra Community Day for Pokemon Go.

The company made the announcement regarding the postponement of March's Abra Community Day on the Pokemon Go blog and Twitter.

Along with the postponement, the company announced that effective today, the following changes have been made to the game:

  • A one-time purchase bundle of 30 Incense for 1 PokeCoin. Incense will also last for one hour.
  • 1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during this time period
  • PokeStops will now drop Gifts more frequently
  • Pokemon habitats will increase and more Pokemon will be appearing in the wild

The company is also extending the Cobalion and Lugia Raid Battles to make sure Trainers have enough time to challenge these Legendaries.

The Abra Community Day was due to take place on Sunday, March 15. As usual, it was to last three hours, during which time players would have the chance at catching shiny variants of the Abra family.
