Playfish working on social game based on well known EA brand

Speaking with the WSJ, Playfish president Kristian Segerstrale has said it's working on a new social game based on a well known EA brand.

It's the first time Playfish has mentioned projects since being taken over by EA last year.

Segerstrale also said social gaming will see growth within the next two years.

"Social gaming as an industry has grown pretty quickly, but it also means it has to grow up pretty quickly," he said.

"I think we’re going to see it rapid maturing over the next 12 to 24 months."
