PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds: first-person servers now available in all game modes

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds developer Bluehole has flipped the switch, bringing FPP to all game modes.

First-person servers got added just last week with the monthly patch, but were only limited to Solo, and Duo queues. It was missing from the Squads game mode, which made many fans unhappy.

Now, not only is FPP available in all three, it was extended to include more regions. Previously, only North America, and Europe were allowed to play on first-person servers, but now Asia has been added. The game's official Twitter broke the news moments ago.

An option for FPP Squads was actually spotted last night on the game's test servers, which is currently busy testing this week's patch. The patch is due out today, but you won't have to wait for it to play FPP Squads.

Leaderboards for the new mode will be added later, according to the tweet, but it's good to finally see FPP support for all modes.
