PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds 1.0 test servers will remain open until PC launch

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds developer PUBG Corp has decided against shutting down and then restarting the 1.0 test servers as was initially planned.

Instead, the PUBG 1.0 test servers, which are now available alongside Miramar and a host of new content, will continue to be live all the way up to the PC out-of-Early-Access launch.

The game's creator announced the news on Twitter, adding that servers would go down only when a patch needs to be pushed. Outside of that, it's all business as usual.

As announced at the Game Awards a few days ago, the PC version officially launches on Wednesday, December 20, so there's plenty of time to spend on the desert map from now until launch. Hopefully, all of this will result a better 1.0 for everyone.

In other PUBG news, the game's Xbox One launch happens tomorrow.
