Open source Kinect drivers let you use it on your PC

Looks like a couple of different folks have found a way for Kinect owners to use the device on their PC.

First up is the NUI Group, which are apparently working on an open source SDK and Windows driver for Kinect and plans on releasing it once the $10K donation bucket is brimming with funds.

But there's another on out there too from a fella named Hector Martin, who has his code released onto the wild blue internet within three hours of Kinect's European launch.

Granted, Martin's code will only allow you to display visuals with Kinect on your PC, but it's still fun playing with tech.
