It's good to see so many traditional console games supported for PC. It's even better when they get this support before the game launches. Following up on previous Gamescon announcements, NVIDIA has released a new Game Ready Driver that fully supports Destiny 2's open beta.

"NVIDIA has been working with Bungie and Activision to bring the Destiny franchise to PC," NVIDIA said in a press release. "With that in mind, today’s Game Ready Driver includes support for the open beta of Destiny 2. Game Ready drivers aim to support all major milestones for games meaning we’re always working to bring you the best experience every time you game."

Given the number of changes Destiny 2's beta has already undergone, that's promising news.

Of course, NVIDIA's Game Ready drivers aren't just about Destiny 2. The latest release will also support the official launches of Ark: Survival Evolved, F1 2017, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2018. What's more, the download optimizes the NVIDIA highlights tool for PlayUnknown's Battlegrounds and Ansel photography support on PES 2018. You can download the driver here.

Destiny 2's PC open beta will go live on August 29, 2017 and runs until August 31st. Preorder customers will get beta access a day early.
