Irrational Games has laid off a small number of staff, and a statement from the developer assures the lay-offs won't impact development of BioShock Infinite's DLC.
"In an effort to streamline our processes I am sad to confirm that we let go a total of 8 employees today," read the statement to Kotaku. "Any studio’s greatest asset is the group of people that make up the whole, and as such it was extremely hard to make this decision and there is never a good time for this to happen.
"As co-workers and friends, we wish them the very best."
Irrational is working on two DLC packs for Bioshoc Infinite: Burial at Sea – Episode One is out in the fall and Burial at Sea – Episode Two is out in 2014.
