Cracks have started appearing on the Fortnite map ahead of Season 8

Fortnite players are starting to find cracks in various locations on the map due to the impending earthquake.

Cracks are starting to appear in various areas of the Fortnite map, hinting at a massive cataclysm on the horizon.

Earlier this week, dataminers uncovered files relating to an earthquake, which would explain recent changes to Loot Lake and cracking sounds coming from the ground.

The files showed 50 tremors are set to occur on the map between now and the start of Season 8.

As of press time, two cracks have been spotted around Lazy Links, and two close to Tomato Temple: one west of it, and one on a hill to the southwest (thanks, Dexerto).

If we get word of more cracks popping up on the map, which we will, this post will be updated.

Fortnite Season 8 is set to begin on February 28, the day after the Share the Love event ends.
