Far Cry 2 sells over 1 million units

Ubi Montreal shooter Far Cry 2 has cleared more than 1 million units since it released at the end of October.

"[The game] is well on track to achieve our expectations for the year," said Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.

"The holiday quarter is off to a solid start with the successful launch."

The game topped the US PC charts in its launch week and was only beaten off the UK all-formats by Fable II.
