Dead Rising 3 was originally intended for release on Xbox 360, according to Capcom Vancouver, but the team moved it over to Xbox One after pushing the 360 hardware beyond its limits.

In the video posted below, Dead Rising 3 executive producer Josh Bridge explains the premise of the game, and give you a look at its star bashing zombies with a wrench. But that’s not all: the game contains a weapon called a sledgesaw which as you can probably discern for yourself is a sledgehammer-skillsaw combo. Bridge also touches upon Kinect and SmartGlass integration. Dead Rising 3 is an Xbox One exclusive from Capcom and is slated for release this year. Thanks, Evil Avatar.

Capcom’s teasing something in relation to Dead Rising. What it is, you tell us, but a post on the game’s Facebook wall through the guise of DR1 and DR2: Off The Record Frank West says he’s “getting packing for my new adventure – camera, notebook and baseball bat. What else would i need for a break in paradise?”
Dead Rising 3, innit. Or Dead Rising XBLA, Part Tres. Whatever.

Dead Rising 2 and Resident Evil 5 have been given price drops via Games on Demand on Xbox 360. Pricing for the digital downloads are as follows: Dead Rising 2: 2400 MS points ($30.00) and Resident Evil 5: 1600 MS points ($20.00). Fire up the 360 and get to downloading if you haven’t played these already.

Capcom has released a new video for Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, which shows of the a combo weapon in the game called: the Pegasus. What this hobby-horse does, is allow the player to “send zombies cascading majestically into the heavens,” and even better, lets you impale them with it. Off the Record is scheduled for release on October 11. Check out the video below.

Posted below the break is a gameplay video for Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, which shows how to modify a tennis ball machine with gasoline. You have to see it to believe it.
