Microsoft is set to unveil its new Xbox console next week, but it is apparently saving some of its big software announcements for E3 as the console reveal is serving as foundation laying so to speak.

Microsoft is gearing up to unveil its Xbox successor on May 21, and is currently building a venue for the big day. Chief of staff for interactive entertainment business Aaron Greenberg and Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hyrb have been tweeting photos of the venue’s creation.

Kinect: There “won’t be a correlation” between game reviews and sales, says Greenberg

Aaron Greenberg is a confident man. So confident, he believes Kinect will sell more units at launch than the Wii did.
He is also so confident in Kinect, he doesn’t think reviews of games created for it will affect sales of the device or the games created for it in any way.
