LittleBigPlanet: 7 million levels created in 4 years

LittleBigPlanet has just hit 7 million levels four years after it launched on PS3, Media Molecule has revealed.

Media Molecule celebrated the news in a blog post, which includes a colourful chart that reels off a barrage of mind-boggling stats.

The seven million levels have been made across all PS3 iterations of LittleBigPlanet to date, as well as the PSP version.

The stats reveal that 37,641 new levels were published last week alone, which equates to 5377 every day, or 3.7 per minute. That's a lot of levels.

The next game in the series, LittleBigPlanet Karting is out some time in 2012.
