The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time heading to Wii U Virtual Console in Europe

One of the most beloved entries in The Legend of Zelda franchise is heading to Virtual Console in Europe.

According to a tweet from Nintendo of Europe, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be released through Virtual Console on Wii U July 2.

Originally released for N64 in 1998, the game has since graced GameCube, Wii Virtual Consoles, and on 3DS in June 2011.

Nintendo of North America has yet to announce whether it will be released on Wii U Virtual Console stateside as of press time.
