This guy is controlling Ocarina of Time with an actual ocarina

Is - is this for real?

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is beloved of streamers and speedrunners - probably because it's such a fantastic game. This has led to all sorts of weird and wonderful playthroughs - in a similar vein to all those "Dark Souls with a Rock Band guitar" attempts - such as beating it while blindfolded.

Today's new entry in this crowded field is pretty special, though. Streamer MonotoneTim has rigged an actual honest-to-goodness ocarina as a game controller. It's not that different from those who use pianos as game controllers, except that ocarinas are a wind instrument, which means in order to trigger actions in game, the player needs to use their breath and control pitch organically rather than just pressing keys.

It doesn't sound like MonotoneTim will be continuing his playthrough, but even so it's pretty amazing. You can watch the full stream on Twitch if you fancy (it starts at 11:50, and the explanation of the controller set up starts around 17:00), but below you'll find two boss battle highlights - Ghoma and King Dodongo.
