Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order reviews round-up, all the scores

There's a lot riding on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order; will it deliver?

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a first in two major ways. It's the first fully-single-player Star Wars console game from EA this generation, and the first Respawn Entertainment game that isn't a shooter.

It's also EA's chance to get back on track following a series of botched live service launches, and a blunder so bad it got lawmakers worldwide involved.

That's a lot for a single game to contend with, but luckily Jedi Fallen Order appears to be on the right track. Structurally, the game borrows from Soulsborne and Metroid in the design of its world, which is made up of interconnected levels that require multiple visits to fully explore.

There's even more in common with From Software's work in Fallen Order's gameplay, with a a Sekiro-like combat system, meditation points that act as bonfires, not to mention the game's approach to healing items and the penalty for dying.

Read on below to see how it fared with critics.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is out today on PS4, Xbox One and on Steam on PC, now that EA is back on Steam. Though it's obviously also available on Origin, it won't have a trial for EA/Origin Access members.
