The trailer and accompanying press release also confirm the leaked release dates that we recently reported: September 13 in the US, September 16 in Europe and Australia.

The game will cast players as Joule Adams, a young woman who will team up with a group of robots and make use of their unique abilities to traverse the game's numerous harsh environments.

Armature Studio was formed by developers who previously worked on Metroid Prime, while Keiji Inafune is best known for his work on the Mega Man franchise.

ReCore, which will retail for $39.99 and is currently available for preorder, will be crossplay between Windows 10 and Xbox One. Not only will buying one give you the other, but you can share your save files between the two versions and switch between them as you see fit.

A backwards compatible version of the Xbox 360 game Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts 'n Bolts is being offered as a preorder bonus.
