Kinetic is making Phasmophobia even scarier

As it couldn't get any scarier.

Ghosts in Phasmophobia can now hear you, thanks to the latest update to the game by Kinetic Games.

Now, when talking or taunting the ghost before a hunt, it will now appear and interact in the game. Plus, the ghost can now locate you via your own microphone sound. Yikes. Basically, the Ghost can now hear non-VR players when hunting in single-player without you using push to talk. And, it can now open locker doors similar to normal doors.

So much for hiding in a locker. Well, you still can, just be sure to hold on to the door to keep them out.

A few bugs were also fixed with the update, including several "safe spots" on all levels. The bug where the ghost would get stuck when trying to navigate to a location it couldn't reach, such as a closet or a locker, was fixed.

And you can now change the difficulty to professional if below level 25.

In case you are unfamiliar with the Early Access title, Phasmophobia is a four-player online co-op psychological horror game, where paranormal activity is on the rise and it’s up to you and your team to use ghost hunting equipment to gather as much evidence as you can.

It's really popular with folks on Steam.
