Overkill's the Walking Dead release date postponed on PS4, Xbox One

Quick bit of news: Starbreeze is postponing the console release of Overkill's the Walking Dead.

Starbreeze announced in a super short press release today Overkill's The Walking Dead will not be released in February as planned.

According to the notice, the company is "evaluating and reviewing the performance" of the game on consoles. Information on a future release is promised at a later date.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead was announced in 2014 with a 2016 release date. It was pushed back to 2017 and then delayed a second time. It was finally released on Steam in November 2018.

A few weeks later the company noted its disappointment with sales and released a $30 Starter Edition to help jump start things a bit.

The game was set to release on PS4 and Xbox One  February 6 in the Americas and February 8 in Europe.
