Lost Planet 2 gets Dead Rising and Monster Hunter characters

Famitsu has revealed through some screenshots that Lost Planet 2 is getting more than just Wesker, Dom and Marcus.

Those are so yesterday anyway. How about some Frank West from Dead Rising and the "Scaly Knife-Gun Dude", as Joystiq calls him, from Monster Hunter?

So far, here is the rundown in case you are getting a bit confused, because we sure as hell are:

• Marcus and Dom - 360 version only
• Scaly Monster Hunter Dude - PS3 only
• Wesker and other Monster Hunter Dude - all versions

We'll contact Capcom just to be sure.

Looking at the screenshot there, it looks like it's going to be a blustery day for poor, old Pooh-bear.

Lost Planet 2 hits May 18 for PS3 and Xbox 360, and will include split-screen co-op.
