Grab your paper glasses, folks, because this post is in 3D!

Wait. Did you actually fall for that? Wow. You look so ridiculous right now, squinting and straining while modeling your movie theater chic. How embarrassing! Shame it's all for naught.

If this post was running the PlayStation 3's 3.30 system software update, though, it might be a different story.

Among other things, the update will ready your PS3 for the upcoming launch of Sony's 3D Bravia TVs by laying the groundwork for stereoscopic 3D gaming.

Other than that, you can look forward to a host of new Trophy organization options. Via the PlayStation Blog, they are:

  • Trophy enhancements –- Now you can more easily sort trophies in the [Trophy Collection] and [Comparing Trophy] sections. Sorting can be done with [Trophy Collection] in the [Game Category] and also when comparing trophies with your friends in the [Friend Category]
    • Trophy Folder (Title List) can be sorted by game name/ by title according to the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending)
    • Add-on list (Group list) can be sorted by original/the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending)
    • Trophy list can be sorted by original/trophy name/grade/date of obtaining the trophy (ascending/descending)

So yeah. Go crazy. Nothing says "adrenaline rush" like "trophy organization." To think: we used to freak out over things like cross-game chat. It all seems so insignificant now.
