Koichi Ishii heading up 3DS port for Ocarina of Time

Final Fantasy II and Mana developer Koichi Ishii's firm, Grezzo Co, LtD. has been outed as the developer handling the 3D port of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

The news was posted via the game's rating handed to out by Australia's Classification Board (via Aussie Nintendo).

This isn't the first time Nintendo has outsourced a game for porting purposes, nor worked with another firm on a Zelda title. Capcom was responsible for the Game Boy Advance remake of A Link to the Past back in 2002, which was not its first experience with the Zelda series either.

Since leaving Square in 2007 and forming his own company, Ishii and his firm have released Line Attack Heroes for WiiWare in 2010.

It was announced today by Nintendo that Ocarina of Time 3DS will release in Europe on June 17 and the US on June 19.
