Premiership clubs are using Football Manager to go shopping for players

Football Manager's exhaustive player database is being integrated into Prozone Recruiter, which is used by some big football clubs to find future superstars.

"The database is a highly accurate and valuable resource," said Prozone chief executive Thomas Schmider. "It will further enhance the recruitment services we provide."

There's long been stories of clubs using Football Manager in this way, but this is the first time it's been made official.

Miles Jacobson, director of the Football Manager series at Sports Interactive, said: "Real managers around the world will be finding and comparing players using data and a search system that will be very familiar to players of Football Manager."

A few days ago it was announced that Football Manager 2015 will be taking over your life this November.
