Dragon’s Crown gets new hard-hitting trailer, fresh screens
Dragon’s Crown has received a new trailer and screens courtesy of Atlus. It’s a beautifully-drawn scrolling beat-em-up set in a fantasy world similar to Dungeons & Dragons. It’s like if Final Fight and Game of Thrones had babies.

Persona 4 Arena is “looking at a May release” in Europe
Persona 4 Arena may have zoned in on its European release date. Possibly. In an update on the Persona Europe Facebook page, publisher Zen United announced the Xbox 360 version is going through Microsoft’s submission process.

Catherine and Persona art books release digitally on PSN Japan
Catherine and Persona have both received the eBook treatment on Sony’s PlayView app in Japan, along with a third book dedicated to the works of artist Shigenori Soejima. All three books feature plenty of finished art, early concepts and insight from their creators. Check out pricing and screens below.

Quick shots – Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss edition shots are beautiful
From Software has released 15 new screenshots for Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss Edition, which is going to be sold in the west as Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for PC. It’ll come bundled with the upcoming Artorias of the Abyss downloadable content pack. The package will release in Japan on October 25 for 4,800 yen ($61), and will hit North America on Steam and Games for Windows Live as the Prepare to Die Edition on August 24. A retail version is also going to release later in the year for PlayStation 3, and PC. You can check out the shots below.

Japanese software sales – Pokemon, Japan chooses you!
Media-Create’s released the latest software charts in Japan with, surprise surprise, Pokemon topping the billing.
It sold over 165k units sold, with over 2 million units sold this year.
Uncharted 2 entered the charts respectively enough, selling over 54k.

Atlus: Demon’s Souls NA servers going live on October 6

No one owns Demon’s Souls yet. No one. The game doesn’t release for another few days. Procurring an early copy is impossible. Even if you’re the President.
But, hypothetically, if you’ve somehow managed to weasel your way into a copy of Demon’s Souls before its release date, Atlus would like you to know that the game’s online servers won’t be live until October 6. The publisher told us as much in a press email.
For now, you’ll just have to make do with single player. Or you would, if you had a copy of Demon’s Souls. Which you don’t.
