Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, an typically the day all retailers start knocking prices on items leading up to the culmination of the Christmas Shopping Extravaganza in the US. However, this year, many retail chains are staying open into the wee-hours on Thanksgiving, so if you don’t plan on celebrating it with your family you can go spend money instead.

There are also some great deals for Digital/Steam games.

    Some examples:

    Max Payne 3 + Season Pass – 7$

    Borderlands 2 + Borderlands GOTY Pack – 12$

    Bioshock Triple Pack – 15$

    Civilization V Complete – 20$

That list will be updated as new deals show up. Also BF4 Origin key for 30$ (~21€) on Black Friday.

It’s a disgrace that they still do this in the US only. Yes I know Black Friday is an American thing but it would be nice to make a DIGITAL sale international! Isn’t that the whole bloody point of digital..

I’d wish we could see these kinds of deals in the UK. Instead our retailers idea of a ‘sale’ is putting the price up 4-6 weeks before you bring it back down to what it originally was and call it ‘money off’!

Or their new trick, to actually increase the price and state ‘saving 30%’

We got Amazon Black Friday deals in Germany aswell.

Since Amazon is doing that, some other online shops also joined the sales war.

Stuff gets sold out within seconds.

@2 Steam is doing their turkey day sale. I bet CIV 5 will be cheaper then that on steam.

The $190 deal for Xbox 360 250GB bundle is not the cheapest. Hastings will sell the bundle for only $150 on Thanksgiving. Source:
