US games sales decline to continue until GTA 5, next-gen systems are released

Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia expects NPD figures for March 2013 to be down by 10-15% when the numbers are reported tomorrow.

Speaking in an industry note, the analyst doesn't expect the sector to show any improvement until GTA 5 and the new consoles from Sony and Microsoft are released.

Bhatia expects Bioshock Infinite to be the big seller for the month, estimating its sell-through somewhere around the 700,000 and 750,000 mark on both PS3 and Xbox 360.

Brenna will bring you the full NPD report tomorrow once it hits.
