Torchlight 2 passed 1 million sales in 2012

Torchlight 2 made over 1 million sales between its launch in September and the end of 2012, developer Runic Games announced on Twitter. This figure may have been given a boost by the indie sequel's inclusion in Steam's autumn and winter sales, but the action RPG has been well-received by critics and fans, and opinion is divided as to whether it beats out unintended rival Diablo 3. A Mac port is expected this year.
