The Division 2 endgame guide: how to find blueprints, increase your Gear Score and get to World Tier 4

After you’ve completed the main campaign in The Division 2, you’ll be able to access the endgame content and access better weapons and gear.

In order to access the endgame content, you’ll need to be level 30, have completed three Strongholds and must have picked one of three Specializations.

After that, you’ll be able to access World Tier 1, where you’ll see that you now have a Gear Score next to your weapons. Certain activities will require a specific gear score, say 275, in order to complete it, but how do you increase it?

The easiest way to increase your Gear Score is by completing Invaded versions of missions, upgrading your crafting table and crafting better gear and buying high-end gear from vendors.

In order to advance through the World Tiers, you must complete two missions then the Stronghold that’s tied to those missions. The missions can be completed at almost any level, but the Strongholds will have Gear Score requirements.

To progress from World Tier 1 to Tier 2, you need to complete the Grand Washington Hotel and Jefferson Trade Center missions before tackling the District Union Arena Stronghold.

After that, you’ll want to upgrade your crafting table, make new weapons and keep going until you hit World Tier 4.

There are six missions and three Strongholds you’ll need to complete to reach World Tier 4, with Tier 5 Stronghold Tidal Basin becoming available later in The Division 2 roadmap.

Another way to improve your Gear Score is by returning to the Base of Operations and looking at your skill tree. There is a Signature Weapon damage Tier 3 perk that increases your Signature weapon’s damage by 57%, then by 96% when upgraded again, so it’s well worth checking out.

Similarly, taking back enemy Control Points with an Alertness rating of three or four will ensure that Blueprints will drop, allowing you to craft better gear. Simply look for activities linked to that Control Point and complete those to increase its Alertness rating.
