Street Fighter x Tekken extra characters expected on PC in September

12 additional characters featured in the Vita version of Street Fighter x Tekken will likely arrive as DLC for the PC port sometime in September.

The extra characters, which will release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on July 31, are expected as part of a DLC pack which isn't yet in certification.

"They'll be in the second batch of DLC. We're hoping to submit middle of next month, with release in early September. So probably something like five-six weeks separating the [two DLC packs] unfortunately," Capcom's Christian Svensson wrote on the Capcom Unity forum.

The DLC characters have been the subject of much controversy after it was discovered that Capcom shipped them on-disc; the publisher has since said it will revise its DLC strategies in response to complaints.

Thanks, Shoryuken.
