Report - Silent Hill: Book of Memories to sport multiplayer

Looks like those persistant rumours of Silent Hill multiplayer were actually true, but not for the game you'd expect.

GameTrailers reports Silent Hill: Book of Memories, which is destined for PS Vita, will feature multiplayer.

Very little else is known about the game, which was announced during the Konami pre-E3 event.

The Silent Hill series has had two portable outings, and the original game is available via the PlayStation Network for use with the PSP.

Rival survival horror series Resident Evil has taken a multiplayer path on more the one occasion.
