Nvidia G-Sync monitors coming Q2 2014, manufacturers revealed at CES 2014

Nvidia has revealed it will launch a series of PC monitors with embedded G-Sync chip sets designed to enhance gaming visuals and performance. The devices are expected in Q2 2014 and a list of official manufacturers has been revealed.

Now, Polygon reports that Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang announced the first wave of G-Sync monitors during a live presentation at CES 2014 today.

Coming in 24 and 27-inch flavours, the monitors will launch Q2 courtesy of manufacturers Acer, AOC, ASUS, BEnQ, Philps and ViewSonic. the G-Sync unit can be found within the monitors themselves, or installed into any existing display. The aim is to remove latency issues, screen-tearing and other visual inconsistencies found in current displays.
