No Man’s Sky Next free update The Abyss coming next week
New content releases next week for No Man’s Sky Next and it's titled The Abyss.
Hello Games has announced it will release The Abyss next week. It's a free update for No Man's Sky Next.
The studio said while most of the team has been busy on weekly updates, a handful of others have been working on the next update.
It will focus on "some of the eerier elements" of No Man’s Sky, in "keeping with the theme of this season." Halloween, basically.
No Man's Sky Next features Biological Horrors, so it's possible contents of The Abyss could focus heavily on these monstrosities. They nest around abandoned building after all, and what's scarier than an abandoned building? A monster hanging around said abandoned building.
That's just conjecture, because Hello Games didn't go into detail on the content. We'll have to wait until next week to find out more.
No Man's Sky Next is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
