Modern Warfare 2 PC Steam version locked until Thursday

Um. This is a bit odd. As you can see from Steam's Modern Warfare 2 page, the PC version of Infinity Ward's shooter is locked up until Thursday.
Why? We don't know. The game's now on sale for PS3, 360 and PC. Unlucky if you pre-loaded it on Steam, obviously.
