Mobile titles on the way for Kingdom Hearts and Lara Croft

Square Enix continues to expand its mobile offerings.

Square Enix announced two new mobile games during its E3 conference. The publisher's Montréal studio is working on Lara Croft GO, which takes a similar tack to its previous title, Hitman GO. The latest outing for Lara expands on the turn-based puzzle gameplay we saw in Hitman, with the player exploring ancient ruins to uncover the myth of the Queen of Venom.

Kingdom Hearts Unchained X had previously been announced for Japan, but E3 brought confirmation of a wider release as well. The game will shine new light on plot points from the core series' past, as well as the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3. And for the first time in the series' history, players will create their own character.

Both titles are set for release across iOS and Android devices, and though neither has a firm release date, we can likely expect them both by the end of the year.
