GTA Online Heists update rolling out now

GTA Online's long-awaited Heists update is finally going live - for real this time.

Heists is now available to GTA 5 players on PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Players from all over the world have reported the update going live.

Unfortunately, the update appears to be being rolled out gradually - as you'd expect with such an anticipated content drop - so some players are still twiddling their thumbs waiting for it to hit, while others are already online and playing. This seems to be the case across all platforms except PlayStation 3, where nobody's confirmed receiving the update yet.

So many reports have come in that we're pretty sure this is the official release - not the few lucky unlocks that happened yesterday.

The update seems to weigh in at between 4.5 GB and 5GB on PS4 and Xbox One, with reports of a much smaller size - 1.5 GB - on last-gen consoles.

Rockstar kept pretty tight-lipped about what was included in the heists update, but almost all of it leaked.
