Grounded: How to Kill a Bombardier Beetle and Get Bombardier Parts
Bombardier Beetles are a seriously tough foe to go up against in Grounded. Here's how to kill them and get their precious Bombardier Parts.
Bombardier Beetles are very difficult to take down in Grounded. Not only do they shoot acid from their butts, they also have a bite attack that can kill you after a couple of hits. You'll need to kill them for Bombardier Parts, so we've put together this guide on how to kill Bombardier Beetles. We'll take a look at the tools you'll need before you head into the fight and what rewards you'll get for killing one.

Where to Find a Bombardier Beetle in Grounded
If you want to kill a Bombardier Beetle in Grounded you will first need to find one. Our guide on killing one centers around a specific beetle at a specific location, so head to the location shown in the image below. The beetle will be at the bottom of a trench, guarding two acorns.
How to Kill a Bombardier Beetle
To kill a Bombardier Beetle in Grounded you will first need to craft a Sprig Bow and 40 Arrows. You'll need thistles to make the latter, which you can read more about here. Once you have those items you need to head to the location shown above and then into the exact position shown in the image below.
You'll be standing on a rock, able to see the beetle through the leaves ahead. Start firing arrows and you'll see the beetle move into the corner, it will stay here for the rest of the fight. Keep firing arrows (it takes around 40 to kill it) until it is dead. If the beetle comes free from its corner you will just need to keep your distance and avoid the acid blasts coming your way. This is simple to do if you just keep moving. You can retrieve any arrows you miss so make sure you pick them up at the end of the fight. How to Get Bombardier Parts
To get Bombardier parts you will need to kill a Bombardier Beetle. Follow the steps in this guide and then loot its body. You'll get an Explosive Sac and Bombardier parts. These can be used in crafting some great weapons and armor, so keep an eye out for any more beetles you can kill with your bow.
