First Crackdown gameplay to be shown at gamescom 2015

We're going to be treated to the first ever gameplay footage of Xbox One's Crackdown at gamescom next week.

Gamescom 2015 starts a week from now and Microsoft is poised to have a killer line-up. The company is bringing three Xbox One exclusives to the show in a big way. These are Scalebound, Quantum Break, and Crackdown.

Today, Xbox boss Phil Spencer surprised a fan on Twitter by confirming that what Microsoft is showing from Crackdown will in fact be gameplay.

@TSobski Final Gamescom content review was today and things are becoming final. Lot's of nostalgia for me with the Crackdown gameplay.

Spencer knowns that Microsoft needs to do better in Europe, and wants this year's conference to demonstrate that.

Microsoft's media briefing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4.
