EVE Online: Citadel expansion drops next week - cinematic trailer

The next EVE Online expansion releases on April 27. Citadel allows players to construct bases, and introduces force auxiliary support ships, over 100 new modules and capital superweapons.

To get you in the mood, and also as part of this week's Fanfest event in Iceland, CCP released the glorious cinematic trailer above. The featured track is Wrecking Machine by Permaband, in case you were wondering.

In other news out of Fanfest, VR dogfighting sim EVE Valkyrie is getting cross-play between Oculus Rift, Vive and PlayStation VR and shooter Project Legion has been axed in favour of Project Nova, which is, uh, also a shooter...? Mysterious.
