Nintendo provides June release window for Switch game Cadence of Hyrule

A release window has been provided for Cadence of Hyrule, a mashup of The Legend of Zelda and Crypt of the NecroDancer.

Nintendo of Japan provided a June release window for Cadence of Hyrule during a recent Indie World segment on YouTube.

Earlier this week, the source code for Nintendo of America's website listed the game for a June 20 release. However, Nintendo has yet to make a formal announcement, so we'll just have to take that date for what it is - for now (thanks, Nintendo Life).

The company will host its annual Nintendo Direct during E3 this year, so we'll likely have the June date confirmed at that time.

Nintendo announced Cadence of Hyrule during its Nindies Spring Showcase in March. The rhythmic action-adventure title from Brace Yourself Games brings the gameplay of Crypt of the NecroDancer to The Legend of Zelda series.

You can play as either Link or Princess Zelda while exploring a randomly generated overworld and dungeons on a quest to save Hyrule. The Switch game includes 25 remixed Legend of Zelda tunes alongside “modern-looking Lynels” and “Hyrulean Soldiers of old.”
