Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 download size revealed - watch the launch trailer

More details about the download size for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 have come out now as we approach the game's launch.

As expected, the Xbox Store page (via Charlie Intel) for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been recently updated with more information on the game, particularly when it comes to the file size.

Xbox One games typically become available for pre-load well ahead of any other platform, so it makes sense for the download size on the store to be made public ahead of time. In this case, Black Ops 4 appears to require a relatively modest 42.64GB of free space. The size will no doubt expand at launch, assuming a day one patch or two are in the works.

Though this is technically the size of the Xbox One version, it should give us an idea about the PS4 download size as well, judging by how similar they tend to be for most games. Pre-loading is not yet available, however.

To celebrate the impending launch, Activision released the Black Ops 4 launch gameplay trailer. It's relatively short this year, what with the lack of big campaign moments to spice it up, but it does list all the content players will have access to at launch. Black Ops 4 offers multiplayer, Zombies, and of course, Blackout battle royale.

You may also notice a look at what seems to be the different tutorial missions for the game's specialists, and teasers for never-before-seen maps.
