Call of Duty social media goes "dark" ahead of reveal

We all know the next Call of Duty will be revealed soon.

Whether the Call of Duty reveal will happen on May 30 as rumored isn't known at this time, but it's looking more and more like a sure thing.

Activision updated its Call of Duty Twitter and Facebook accounts today with solid black header images, and the former even states "going dark" under its page description.

The company usually reveals its Call of Duty games in May, and provides a look at the multiplayer and other gameplay aspects at E3. This year will not likely be any different. So yes, a reveal is forthcoming.

This year's title is said to be Modern Warfare, and not Modern Warfare 4 as previously rumored.  Still, it will be the fourth Modern Warfare title released, remaster excluded.

Once we know for sure whether the game will be revealed on Thursday - or not - we'll provide an update.

Thanks, MP1st.
