Apex Legends player recreates Borderlands intro cutscene in the game

A Borderlands fan has recreated the intro cutscene from the game using Apex Legends characters.

u/McArctico shared the video on Reddit (via PC Gamer) that features the Legends and their finishers set to Elephant’s Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked, and it's perfect.

A lot of comments call out the OP for their "Bloodhound bias", and other suggestions have included adding the characters' voice lines, although that last one doesn't have everyone on board, with other commentors pointing out that the Borderlands intro doesn't include any dialogue.

Borderlands got a re-release with the launch of the Game of the Year Edition last week, and you can check out a comparison video between the the original and the remaster to see how it stacks up.

Borderlands 3 is launching this September for PC and console, although the six-month timed exclusivity on the Epic Store hasn't gone down particularly well with fans. The series as whole was review-bombed on Steam - even Telltale's Tales' Tales From the Borderlands.

Apparently cross-platform support is "being looked at" but we'll get more details on the launch during the May 1 reveal event.

Borderlands 3 is out September 13 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
