Borderlands 2: new character & DLC being worked on now

Borderlands 2 will get new character DLC and a level cap raise soon, according to Gearbox Software head Randy Pitchford.
OXM has collated some of Pitchford's tweets to eager fans on the matter.
When asked about a sixth character, Pitchford replied:
When asked about a potential level cap raise, Pitchford added, "News as soon as we can. Sorry I can't offer more yet - I get skewered when things change in development, whatever the reason."
When pressed one more time about the level cap, Pitchford re-iterated:

Meanwhile, it has been suggested that Gearbox made Aliens: Colonial Marines in just nine months. It's not looking good.
