Xenoblade developer wants to be “something like” Bethesda
Monolith Soft’s Michihiko Inaba has named The Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda Softworks as the Japanese company’s model and inspiration.

Pre-order Xenoblade Chronicles in US, get free artbook
Nintendo’s announced those who pre-order Xenoblade Chronicles in the US at GameStop will be able to pick up a free artbook that contains art from the Monolithsoft RPG. Both the game and artbook is currently exclusive to GameStop in the US right now.
The game’s out in America on April 6. It’s out now in Europe for Wii.

Xenoblade Chronicles trailer pumps up US release
Nintendo’s released a new US-based trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles ahead of the RPG’s release in the country in April. The video shows a meaty chunk of gameplay and menus, which is about it. Still, if you’re looking for The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower to be released stateside, you may want to buy this. Get the video below the break, via Joystiq.

North American trailer released for Xenoblade Chronicles
NOA has released the US trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles, which was announced for the region yesterday. It’s posted below, courtesy of IGN. The Wii exclusive is slated for an April 2012 release.

Report – US release of Xenoblade Chronicles not looking good
Mathieu Minel, marketing manager of Nintendo France, has told a French television program that it’s unlikely Xenoblade Chronicles will see a release in the US.

Be it ever so humble, the HD-is-for-suckers Wii is still capable of some beautiful things. Xenoblade Chronicles is due for release in Europe in September, with a US release expected but as yet unscheduled. You can watch 20 minutes of the game formerly known as Monado through the cut.
