EA holding Xbox Live sale
EA’s holding a big January sale on Xbox Live, with games such as Dragon Age: Origins, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit getting discounts as part of the promo. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PC receives 2.6GB patch, removes DRM
The release of Battlefield 3 is a mere several weeks away, but those PC gamers still enjoying the previous instalment will be pleased to hear EA has joined the ranks of publishers that release a title DRM’d to the nines, only to later put out a patch to remove it. Huzzah!

Battlefield 360 DLC on sale this week
Get ready to save some money this week if you own the 360 version of Battlefield Bad Company 2. Nelson’s revealed that from now until April 11, players of the DICE FPS will be able to save 50 percent off various bits of DLC.
