"Xbox dad" awaits verdict in infant death case

An American man is now facing a jury's verdict after being tried for stamping on his infant daughter's head after she tugged "at the cord on his Xbox's controller, knocking it over."

Anwar Salahuddin, who also uses the name Tyrone Spellman, is alleged to have stamped on the child's head five times, causing fatal injuries.

Summing up yesterday, prosecuting attorney James Berardinelli said, "His entire life and daily routine is about playing the game. What do you think someone with that kind of obsession is going to do when it gets knocked over? What do you think is going to happen? The skull fractures on that baby are what happened."

The jury is currently considering charges of murder and endangering the welfare of a child.
