Modern Warfare's Mara actress gets two Twitch streamers banned for cheating in Warzone

Two Call of Duty: Warzone streamers got banned for cheating after they got reported by an unlikely spotter.

Alex Zedra, the actress behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Mara, is herself a Twitch streamer that plays Warzone and other games. On Friday, Zedra took to Twitter to report two streamers for cheating, showing a pretty suspicious clip from one.

IcyVixen, and BeardedBanger are the Twitch streamers in question, a couple in real-life who game together on Twitch. Zedra had hosted IcyVixen's stream on her channel in the past, before she became aware of suspicious accuracy in her gameplay.

As you can see in the clip Zedra posted, IcyVixen was able to pinpoint where the enemy was, seemingly through a small hill, and immediately snap onto him as soon as she emerged. BeardedBanger initially defended himself and his partner, but managed to get himself banned shortly after IcyVixen when players discovered that he too had been cheating.

"Thank you Twitch for banning the most toxic hackers I’ve ever come across in my 5 years of being on this platform," Zedra later tweeted. "Glad I got to witness him being banned Live after being called b***h and to 1v1 them as they’re blatantly hacking."

Warzone has long had problems with cheating, which recently reached a fever pitch when more than one streamer got caught cheating in online tournaments. Though Raven continues to ban cheaters in waves, it's hard to trust top-level Warzone gameplay these days because the mode's reputation has been tainted. Just last week, a new hack was spotted that allows cheaters to end Warzone matches anytime they like.
