RollerCoaster Tycoon World will not make its targeted release window.

We did expect RollerCoaster Tycoon World to release in December, but developer Nvizzio Creations has filed advance notice that this isn't happening.

In order to accommodate feedback from the first beta weekend, the team has elected to push release back to early 2016.

"Our highest priority has always been to release a game that we’re proud of, one that lives up to the lofty standards set by the previous titles," a Nvizzio representative wrote in a Steam Community update.

"With this new timing we will be able to do just that – deliver a robust tycoon experience along with additional layers of polishing and tweaks that the extra time affords us."

The new release date will be announced some time after the second beta weekend event, which has itself been delayed into December.

Although the first test only showed a small slice of available content, Nvizzio received "tremendous, useful" feedback, apparently.

"It shows your dedication and passion to the franchise, and your desire to have an impact on the development of the game and see your feedback implemented. It also got us thinking about all the other ways we could push the franchise forward with some additional time," Nvizzio said.

Nvizzio's shortlist of features to improve or implement runs to easier “predefined piece” coaster building, additional coaster test feedback, a robust fencing tool and an improved on-demand grid. More details on these features is available through the linked update.
