Rocksmith bass expansion hitting PC in October

Rocksmith's PC edition is getting a bass expansion next month, publisher Ubisoft has revealed, and although it comes with a hefty price tag, you get a lot of extra content too.

The bass DLC will launch October 16th and supports both six and four string bass play. The pack will cost $29.99, which seems steep, but it gives players access to all bass parts of future Rocksmith DLC tracks going forward.
