Rocksmith 2014 Edition introduced by Alice in Chains frontman

Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains was the first on stage at Ubisoft's E3 2013 presentation to talk about Rocksmith 2014 Edition. The musician was seen issuing voice commands to use Session Mode, a new feature, allowing him to load up a virtual band and play along with them. Rocksmith 2014 Edition is due in October. Alice in Chains will be featured on the tracklist. A trailer and Session Mode demo are available below, along with more details.

Headed to Mac, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Rocksmith 2014 Edition has a redesigned interface and has a couple of new features: a Riff Repeater so you can practice tricky bits, a Master Mode for playing by memory, and a set of Guitarcade” mini-games.

The tracklist boasts over 50 songs including Stone by Alice In Chains, Walk This Way by Aerosmith, Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door by Bob Dylan, The Chimera by The Smashing Pumpkins, Don’t Look Back In Anger by Oasis, ultra soul by B’z. Those who pre-order will receive The Smashing Pumpkins' Cherub Rock.
